2020 Ford Mustang - button muting

Post by leithnz »

Hi, just wondering if someone can clear up a question from a customer for me. Not sure if there is a way around this:
Vehicle is 2020 Ford Mustang with 12 speakers system using FO2 harness. Customers issue:

Pushing the back button temporarily mutes the sound as you push it. Doesn't seem to be an option when re-flashing the unit. Is there a fix, or way around this, or is it meant to do this

Thanks!

is this the back button on the steering wheel, or on the radio? The operation of the radio should be the same as factory, since that component stays in place. Maybe if we could see a video of what is happening we could provide more insight.
