Climate Control 2014 F150 and Pioneer 5200 NEX

I have a 2014 F150 with the RR module connected to a Pioneer 5200 NEX. On startup, I either get the "Climate module not found" message or the system starts up but the climate controls don't work. This is occuring with increasing frequency. Sometimes I can restart the truck and the system boots up ok. Any help you could provide would be appreciated.
