Bluetooth Pairing

Post by Hahn4132 » Sun Aug 26, 2018 7:12 am

On my 2012 F150 w/ sync I am having trouble pairing to the head unit: Kenwood 693s. Currently I have to unhook the Maestro, power the head unit, pair the Bluetooth then hook the maestro back up. The installer has flashed the maestro w/ & w/o sync. I have pulled the sync fuse and tried to pair but that didn’t work neither. The phone sees the head unit when trying to pair but they never connect when maestro is connected. Fortunately I don’t get a new phone everyday but having to go to the installer to pair a phone is not ideal. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Please see page 4 of this owner's guide for more information on how to use the Sync system with your radio. Though the guide's images of the kenwood screens are a few years old, the menu structures are the same. You must go to the Sync Phone menu, enter the settings, and initiate the pairing to connect with Sync.
