Post by Skylight62 » Thu Jul 12, 2018 3:20 pm

Does anyone know how to reset the check engine light on the headunit. I can read the code on the headunit when a CEL is triggered but I am unable to reset it.

HeadUnit: Kenwood DNX994S
Vehicle: 2010 Jetta TDI

hello, what I would like you to do is remove the Maestro and go and reflash it however instead of flashing by the vehicle I want you to flash by User Firmware (there is a tab at the top of when flashing that says User Firmware). you should see a firmware in that tab labeled as version 4.2

flash that and you should be able to clear the CEL light.
