Tundras with JBL

Post by skierwy » Thu Jun 28, 2018 6:09 pm

Good afternoon all, I just purchased this unit for my 2014 Tundra with JBL and I have my hopes set really high that it is going to be the answer I am looking for. I am adding amps, speakers and a sub to my system and it was going to be a nightmare without this unit. I have not read much about Toyotas in online forums which may be a good thing. Is there anything I should be aware of besides updating the firmware prior to installation?

As with any DSR1 when you get ready to install it, always update it on the Fosgate website then you to our site to flash the vehicle specific firmware. Toyota's are pretty solid vehicles to add the DSR1 so I feel that your install will go smoothly. If you get into a jam you can always post here or call our tech line.

I did a 2018 Highlander with the JBL system and it worked great! Had a couple of issues with tuning through the app but other than that it sounds amazing! Great product!
