SUB01 vs SUB02 firmware

Post by johncolby » Fri Jun 22, 2018 9:11 pm

I have a 2015 Forester with bluetooth, NO NAV, NO Harmon Kardon. Right now I have the Maestro RR according to the older hardwired specification, and am using the SUB01 firmware. I just upgraded the head unit to the Pioneer AVH-W4400NEX.

Would I can any new features by swapping out my setup for the SU1 harness and newer SUB02 firmware? (Aside from the backup cam, which I already wired myself.) Thanks!

If you added that, you would get TPMS values showing on your radio, in the vehicle info screen. That's the big difference between the hardwired and t-harness solution in this car.
