Issues Alpine Ilx-107 & Maestro RR in Veloster Turbo

Post by RossRuffino » Thu Jun 21, 2018 3:07 am

I have had my Mastro RR running with my Alpine Ilx 107 for almost 6 months in my Hyundai Veloster. All of a sudden my steering wheel controls don’t work. My gauges work fine just no steering wheel controls. I tried reflashing the module with latest firmware and it didn’t help the problem. I’ve tried tracing the wires and everything looks good but with so many wires in the harness setup it is hard to tell. I’m praying for a resolution!

Press a button on your steering wheel, and look at the LED on the maestro to see if it blinks. If it does, the radio is ignoring steering wheel control commands and might need to be reset.

If the RR doesn't blink when you press a button on the steering wheel, there is either a poor connection where the RR's wires connect to the car, or there's an issue somewhere in the steering wheel circuit.
