2008 Grand Cherokee SRT8

Post by gspfunk » Sun Jun 17, 2018 6:36 pm

Hi, I’m about to replace my old Kenwood DNX9140 with the DDX9905S. The system is currently all aftermarket (Kenwood amps, Infinity speakers).

The rear dvd does not currently work. Everything was wired up before I got the Jeep, so I’m wondering if the Maestro RR and RR-CHRY01-DS will work properly if I replace the current adapters. I’ll have to see exactly which products were used, but I know they’re from 2009 or so.

Also, being an older vehicle, will the Maestro/Kenwood show vehicle info, or is that only available when integrated on vehicles from the factory?

We are not able to retain VES in this solution.

As for the vehicle info, yes- switching to a newer radio will give you the gauges and vehicle info screens.
