amplify chime speaker

Post by zzattack » Wed May 23, 2018 8:28 am

Since the chime speaker output from the maestro RR isn't very loud I ask about the possibility of amplifying this signal. Customer has a DSP and aftermarket amplifier, so perhaps the chime output can be fed into the DSP and mixed into the driver-side speaker signal toward the amplifier. Is this possible?

Have you tried adjusting the chime? What kind of radio is installed?

Yes. Go under the setup of the Pioneer, to OEM Setup. In the Vehicle Features section, you will have options to adjust the chime volume.
