Too many functions on one button

Post by lushka16 » Tue May 22, 2018 2:39 pm

2013 Subaru Legacy w/bluetooth and Sony XAV-AX100.

I have everything working just fine, but I don't like that some buttons have multiple functions. How do I set it so I only get one function? This is not OEM with the vehicle - for instance voice only does voice stock, it does not control the phone. Pic below

There isn't a way to change that-it's a Sony thing. Thatt is how sony wrote the steering wheel protocol when they designed the radio.

Thanks for the response!

Is there any workaround?

No. The only way to change this would be to call Sony and convince them to change their steering wheel protocol, which, it's doubtful that will happen.
