2013 silverado 1500 pioneer avh-4200nex

Post by lilkuz2005 » Tue May 22, 2018 1:53 pm

Hello all, i am looking to upgrade the factory stereo and speakers in my truck this week. I have a stock, non-bose stereo, looking on Crutchfield's site, it says the pioneer avh-4200nex wont fit my truck, but i have read someone has installed it in a gmc using the idatalink maestro rr.

Can anyone with a similar setup tell me if these components will fit and work? My truck has factory Bluetooth calling, backup sensors, 1 USB port, steering wheel controls, on Star, xm radio. I have the iDataLink Maestro HRN-RR-GM5 GM5+ and the Maestro RR in my cart along with the other components but i want to make sure these components will work before placing my order.

Thanks in advance

You will need the Maestro RR module and the GM5+ wiring harness for your truck if the radio is the base, non-navigation radio. If it is the factory navigation radio, you would use the GM2 harness in place of the GM5+. Crutchfield should be able to assist in the selection of the right dash kit and antenna adaptor.
