This is my dash, with the 8 inch screen but not the Sony.
What I need to do is remove the factory touchscreen, APIM, and CD player.
I'm planning to use this dash kit: https://www.cnet.com/products/scosche-f ... kit/specs/
I have a Maestro RR and a HRN-RR-FO2 harness and a Pioneer head unit with iDatalink support. The dash kit is taking a very long time to arrive, and while waiting, I have some doubts.
1. The iDatalink information expects the 2011 Ford Edge to have a 4.3 inch screen, not an 8 inch screen. Since I'm removing the whole factory system, does that matter (are the harnesses different?)
2. Will the Scoshe dash kit and the Maestro RR play nicely together?
I've checked every forum and searched for a long time to find anyone who has ever replaced the factory radio in this vehicle with an aftermarket solution, and I haven't been successful. Does my plan have any chance of working?

We currently don't have a firmware for the 8" trim, so we do not have any coverage for it. We are working to expand our coverage to the MyFord Touch trim, but we're not quite there yet.
