2015 Jeep w/uconnect and AVH-x5800 defaulting to Private

Post by longjorge » Wed Apr 11, 2018 4:50 pm

I replaced my stock radio with a Pioneer AVH-x5800 and when i make or receive a call the headunit will start with private mode off (hear phone ring) once picked up the headunit then shifts to private mode and goes silent. I can then push the button and it will go back to non private. Sometimes it takes more than one time to hear the call.

Because that radio is not idatalink compatible, it's just using the Pioneer bluetooth, which is completely contained within the radio and unrelated to the maestro. I would recommend contacting Pioneer support to see if they can help you resolve this issue.
