Post by bcwhitehead » Tue Apr 03, 2018 8:40 pm

Hello,

Just bought a 2017 colorado with bose stereo and now looking to upgrade to aftermoarket. from what I've seen that pretty the RR will keep everything that is installed minus xm satellite. My question is does the RR keep the factor USB to the radio?

hello,
If it's just a single USB there shouldn't be an issue with retaining it however you will need an adapter since the other end of the USB will not plug into your radio.

Thank you Bill I have four usb in the 2017 Colorado. One under the stereo, one in the center console and two in back of the center console. I only care about one for sure but two would be awesome. If I was gonna use the maestro RR and gm3 T Harnes what other adapter would I need? Thanks for your help.

Regards,
Brandon

the usb adapter would be similar to this piece made for Toyota:http://maestro.idatalink.com/accessorie ... project/rr
we currently do not have one made for GM, maybe you can look around online to see if some other company has one that will work.
