When I purchased the maestro rr the idatalink website specifically that the rr and the pioneer would retain the backup camera functionality for my Cadillac. When I when to flash the rr the camera features where greyed out. Am I doing something wrong?

No- you're not doing anything wrong. Our website is a little confusing. The camera feature that is grayed out is the advanced camera features, which are only available on select kenwood and JVC radios. The basic backup camera image will be retained on all radios.
