HC1151A Reset Module Prorgramming issue?

I am having some issues with this starter/data combo unit.
trying to program the unit and most likely my fault and i could not finish the module program once completed install.
i went to try and clear the vehicle programming by removing all plugs from the unit then removing the 20pin plug. next step while holding the programming button i reinserted the 20pin plug.

this should have activated a red light according to the manuals to reset the learn.

i am getting nothing on anything i am trying.

the unit is doing door locks/trunk no problem, but i cannot program the security part.

double checked all wiring / connections and everything is following the ADS-HCX(RSA)-TL4-[ADS-HCX]-EN manual.
vehicle is 2011 Toyota Corolla G Key 1.8 auto tranny

i have tried reflashing the unit via the website and still cannot get any lights to light up while trying to program.

any advice?

2011 Corolla is a high current application. Reset is done by unplugging the harness with the heavy gauge wires.

The security light connection is not needed.

oh man i wish i had this site yesterday haha
i will try that on the customer vehicle and report back... u don't know how many times i sat and tried to reset the programming on that brain

2nd thing while on the HC model, for adding smart start, did i see a thread where u mentioned to bypass the new loading site? and to use the original weblink site?

which harness do i need to go from smart start to HC system? i cannot find any info on the systems combining anywhere.

No special harness is needed. It plugs into the red DBI (xpresskits) port. It will have to be flashed for ADS remotes with smartstart.

ok got the unit to reset.. now it won't program

i get stuck on step 7 (supposed to turn solid green for 2 sec) stays red

1- insert key
2- turn key to on
3- led flashes green 1x
4- wait led turn solid red
5- turn key off
6-turn key start position
7- LED 1 goes solid green (this is staying red)

if i skip this and move on t gives me the led 2 flash but when i try and remote start i am getting 3x Light flash.

not sure if i am missing something..

i got it going.. used the TL5 programming and wiring

FYI.. these High current reset instructions would be nice in the manual as well as the cut loop auto tranny :)
