There is nothing when the car is off but I included 2 scenarios. 1 when I tested it without the radio installed (5v) and 2 when I installed the radio (12v). the voltage shows nothing when the car is off. I reflashed the maestro again and now it will not be recognized although the red flashing is staying constant. Now I am convinced that there is a firmware malfunction.

Do you have the red wire from the 3 pin main power connector on the RR hooked to anything? (the same one the yellow and black for your main power and ground are in) Because that shouldn't be hooked up to anything from the RR. Red on 3 pin connector = no connection. In addition to the gray/red not being powered properly, having the red on that connector with ACC power will cause the issues you are seeing as well.

I'm having the same problem with my 2008 Nissan Sentra. The only reason I bought the maestro was for the OBD2 capabilities. Have you figured out this issue yet?

no, the problem I am having now is that the light keeps flashing red, it would go green for half a second then immediately go to red flashing and it would continuously be that way despite a re-flashing. I never thought flashing would be this bad. How do I check for warranty?

We offer a one year manufacturer's warranty. If you believe your module is defective, you must exchange it through the dealer where you bought it.
