 Honda Ign fuse blowing???
Just wanna put this out there to see if anyone else is having issues. Just today we have had 3 various Hondas come back with blown fuses on the Ign 1 and there was a handfull more the other couple days. I have not seen this in the past and its a little wierd. Any one else having problems? All Compustar remote starts by the way. Thanks.

 Re: Honda Ign fuse blowing???
The wipers in most newer hondas are on the ignition circuit. If your remote start has anything lower than a 30 amp fuse it will blow if the customer leaves the wipers on and there is heavy snow or ice stopping them from moving.

 Re: Honda Ign fuse blowing???
Yep, we were thinking that after I posted that earlier. They are all 20 amp fuses, ill start bumping them up to 30s
There was an RSX, 3 Odysseys, a few Civics. All oner the board on years and models, but its probably the wipers, we just got hit with 2 feet of snow the other day. Thanks for the replies.

 Re: Honda Ign fuse blowing???
Are those the expensive, multi curcuit fuses? or is was that in a Toyota? Anyway learned the hard way to be carefull with the ign. wires and not arc them to blow the fuse. Did this and thought no big deal I'll just replace the main fuse under hood. Not so. after finding out what type of fuse it was, calling the local Honda/Toy dealer, finding out they didn't have it in stock, ordering it, retrofitting a fuse to work in it's place, getting the customer back in a week when the part came in,...I am now very carefull with power wires on imports.
