Kenwood DMX7704s and Maestro RR install not reading OBD2

Post by eryk4381 » Thu Nov 30, 2017 11:44 am

Hello, I have installed the Kenwwod HU with the Maestro RR module for steering wheel control and to possibly get as much information as I can to readout on the Kenwwod about my OBD2 car data from the ECU. The problem is I only get the selection for the gauges and nothing else. The profile for my car on idatalink specified that it would read car data and gauges as well as the steering controls.

Am I doing something wrong?

The gauges ARE car data. This firmware does steering wheel controls, gauges, and check engine light codes (if the light is on).

Correct I understand that but I was hoping for tire sensors, door sensors, etc.
Is that not possible?

That is not an advertised feature of this firmware, so no, it is not possible at this time.
