2008 F250 Super Duty

Post by ShakeoutKnobby »

I recently installed a maestro rr and all the gauges are working on the Kenwood DNX696s except the MPG and DTE. I'm guessing fixing mpg will fix DTE. When you pull up the mpg gauge it show either .8 or .9 mpg. Any ideas?

Make sure you input your fuel tank capacity in the OEM Setup menu, or the values can be skewed.

I went into the Vehicle info and made sure the tank was set to 28 Gallons. While I was in there I saw that it had fuel type as well. I changed that to diesel and the average mpg went away. The distance to empty shows a - now. I will drive it for abit to see if it populates data now.
