Unknown cable for 2014 Ford F150 install

Post by Mobier »

I'm putting in a K150, a universal Rr Gen 2 with a Kenwood DNX696S. It almost complete except for one cable. It's going into a 2014 F150. The print shows a cable that comes from the Maestro harness via a blue connector. It goes to the K150 (dash) with a white plug and it goes to "Harness behind the radio". I don't know what it does and I don't have any more factory jacks to plug into. Am I misunderstanding something?

The blue 2-pin plugs to the K150's t-harness. There should be a blue 2-pin that fits it. On the other end, the white plug should connect to the dash kit, and the black plug connects to your hazard switch. Of the things listed here, the hazard switch is the only thing that plugs into ford wiring.
