2019 Cherokee Back-Up Cam Not Working

Post by txbengali1980 »

I am using the Maestro RR and CH3 to integrate a Pioneer w4400 NEX. Most everything works as expected however the factory backup cam shows only a black screen. This is when putting car in R or selecting the Cam. Parking Assistance audible tones and sonar work for the most part but sometimes it doesn't beep. Guide lines also don't show up.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So when going into reverse the screen switched over correctly but only shows black right?
If this is correct just make sure your maestro backup camera RCA is plugged into the right port on the Pioneer. It must be labeled Back up camera input (usually a Brown RCA) do not connect to the video input (yellow RCA)

If you trace the backup camera video RCA back into the CH3 t-harness, are there wires populated on the vehicle side? Do you have the yellow backup camera RCA plugged into the brown RCA port?
