Find Connector & Crimps to Avoid Splicing for Camera Wires

Post by slpenza »

I'd prefer to avoid replacing the factory connector or splicing into the wires to attach the camera wires. Is it possible to purchase the connector and manually crimp the wires?

Does anyone know the brand of the connector and/or how to find the exact 24 pin connector & crimps? Any chance Mouser or Digikey etc. will sell only one?

The vehicle is a 2011 Toyota 4 Runner. The connector has 2 rows with 9 pins in the top row and 15 pins on the botton.

Thanks

Unfortunately I don't have a supplier/make for the plug itself, but you might be able to find something on one of those sites. Our usual recommendation is to simply splice into the wiring, but you're welcome to find housings and pins if you can and go that way as well.
