Missing Trip meter 2014 Chevy Silverado

Post by laidback383 » Tue Dec 03, 2019 7:55 pm

I installed a Kenwood DMX9706S with the GM2 harness w/Maestro RR. Everything works as it should, except it no longer displays my trip meters or my mileage till empty in he Driver interface center in the gauge cluster. Is this normal? How do i fix it? Any help would be great.

We dont do any secondary vehicle display on those trucks, but that should be totally unrelated to the systems you are talking about. I assume it is a 2500/3500 series that originally had factory nav by your referencing a GM2 harness?

We do not interface with those clusters, because the information is done via the MOST network. Unfortunately we cannot populate any info that may have been given by the factory radio in that application.

That information should not have been routed "thru" the factory radio, so it should still be in the driver info center in the cluster. The only info you lose is that which the radio provides, like the song, artist, station type information. Again, we don't specifically integrate with those things.
