2008 Nissan Altima - Need Help with Harness selection

Post by geemantex » Fri Nov 29, 2019 1:38 pm

I need help figuring out which harness is needed for my 2008 Nissan Altima. I did try to search the forum, but keep getting a message "to generic" when I search using any combination of the words "2008 Nissan Altima". I currently have the Maestro RR in my 2005 Dodge Magnum R/T. That vehicle is getting sold and we will be pulling the JVC KW-V840BT along with the Maestro RR. I need to know what is needed to make the Maestro RR work in my 2008 Nissan Altima S 2.5L. The is no bluetooth or Bose system installed from the factory. It does have steering wheel controls for the radio (source, selection up/down & volume up/down). The JVC will have a mic connected to the back for making calls through the radio.

Can someone please help guide me as to what I need to purchase to make the Maestro RR work with my 2008 Nissan Altima S 2.5L?

its just a third party harness from Best Kits and the RR hardwired for gauges and steering wheel controls.

Do you know which third party kit (possibly a link to one)? Also, for the hardwire, do you mean tapping into the ODB port wires? I have the ODB connection for the Dodge. Maybe I could salvage it by moving the pins to make it work without hardwiring.
