FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, I NEED HELP!!!

Post by w.borrows » Fri Oct 25, 2019 10:43 am

2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited
Maestro ADS-MRR w/ RR-CH1 harness
Pioneer AVH-1400NEX

Have you ever had something painful, and you just want to rip it out on your own but you know it'll cause damage? That's how I feel about this current setup.

It seems like, my maestro gets into this power cycle mode, where I hear lots of clicking, and it just turns the head unit off and on and off and on again and again and again. With this, comes loss of steering wheel controls, etc.

I'm really frustrated. If anyone has encountered some crackalacka BS like this, please tell me how to fix it.

TIA for any help.

first things first, what exit are you from?
secondly, that's some really odd behavior you are experiencing on one of the most popular firmwares we have. if you can please snap a pic of the sticker with the serial number on the back of the maestro and a video of what you are experiencing and send it to maestro.support@adsdata.ca ATTN: Justin

Well, I'm glad we got the exit thing out of the way. I'm off of Route 80, so even though it is an interstate, it's not like the Parkway or I-95 when it comes to jokes.

I have a video of it. I took it while sitting still so some smart ass from the forum couldn't say, "LOOSE WIRE BRO." I'll take my dash apart and snap a photo stat as well.

I agree that it is an odd behavior. Because of the frequency of it as well. There are hours at a time where nothing happens, and then it happens again repeatedly every 5 minutes.

Thanks for your help Justin, I'll be in touch shortly.
