JDM Daihatsu Maestro RR

Post by Okitundra1 » Mon Oct 28, 2019 11:38 pm

Anybody have any experience with the Maestro RR for a Japan Domestic Model Daihatsu Hijet Truck?
I have a Kenwood DMX906S I want to integrate into the Daihatsu ECU to display the engine vitals (RPM, Temp, Exh Temp, etc.)

If you want to try and do it you are more then welcome however being that the vehicle is built for a market other then North American will not be able to support the solution beyond this point.

1st- Flash a 2013 Nissan 370Z
2nd- From the Maestro wire up
yellow- constant 12v @radio
black- ground @radio
grey/red- acc 12v @radio
brown/red- HS CANH @OBD2 Connector
brown/yellow- HS CANL @OBD2 Connector

DO NOT connect any other wires from the MRR.

Thank you.
The electrics to include the ECU are all Denso and being that Daihatsu is a subsidiary of Toyota, wouldnt flashing the MRR to a Toyota vehicle be more appropriate?

Just curious.

Thanks

It makes zero difference. The gauges software is all the same, no matter if you flash for Nissan or Toyota. You can flash for a 2010 LandCruiser if it makes you feel better.
