FOC1 Aux

Post by Kricer » Sun Oct 27, 2019 7:51 pm

2012 Ford Focus SE
Pioneer AVH-2330NEX
Maestro RR
Foc1 Dash Kit

Are the AUX inputs from the t-harness supposed to plug into the back of the Pioneer? With my Maestro RR taking up the aux input on the radio will i not be able to use the aux in the foc1 dash kit? Is it meant for the oem aux input in the glovebox? Not a big deal since i have bluetooth/android auto now, but just wondering.

The AUX RCAs are only used if the car doesn't have Sync.

If that's the case, you could plug them into the radio's AV in and access the AV in source when you want to use the OEM aux.

Ah makes sense, my SE does not have SYNC. So in this case I wouldn't be able to use the foc1 aux just the OEM aux?

You could use either. We just put an aux in the dash kit to give easy access to an aux input on the back of the radio. It's just for convenience, to save you from having to run wires from the back of the radio into a console or somewhere that's less convenient to access.
