2012 Fusion no nav Android Auto

Post by tmwescott » Sun Oct 27, 2019 12:26 pm

Just finished the install with a Kenwood DMX706s. Everything seems to work great except for one issue. When using Android Auto, there is no sound when Sync is on a phone call. Making or receiving a call in Android Auto muted toe audio, the secondary Sync screen shows that it is in a call...but no sound

When Android Auto is not on, phone calls with Sync work perfectly.

What did I miss?

You didn't miss anything. The radio makes AA the priority when it's active, no matter what source you're in. This is a limitation of the radio. The only way to resolve this would be to re-flash, uncheck Sync, and use AA exclusively for phone calls, streaming, etc.
