2010 Fusion SE Questions

Post by MattCritt » Fri Oct 25, 2019 5:03 pm

I just purchased a 2010 Fusion w/o Nav with sync. I am looking to add an aftermarket radio that has Apple Play and Android Auto, looking a the Kenwood DMX706S.

1. To retain the OE satellite radio, do i still need to buy an aftermarket tuner, or do i retain the OE tuner?

2. The display located above the radio that stays, i have seen videos where information is displayed there. Is this done through the RR?

Thanks,

1. The OEM tuner is built into the radio, so it cannot be retained. You will need an aftermarket tuner. You can keep the OEM satellite antenna by using our SAT1. It plugs into the new tuner and into the existing antenna and makes the installation of the tuner super easy.

2. Yes. The Kenwood radio you're putting in will send information out, and the maestro allows it to show on the upper display.
