2009 Tahoe Hybrid Bose w/ NAV and Kenwood DMX706s with RR

Post by VAbyad » Mon Oct 21, 2019 11:13 pm

I am getting ready to install the DMX706S with RR and I was looking over the manual from May of this year. Given this has a Bose amplifier, I am looking at the manual and it says hook up the Sub and Center RCA jacks. From the DMX706s manual, there is a subwoofer Left and Right Pre-out. I don't see a Center Output on the radio and only one SubWoofer RCA on the Maestro RR.

I assume that the Center won't be connected and do I plug the Sub of the RR harness into the Left Subwoofer Pre-out on the radio.

Are these assumptions correct?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

The center channel and sub connections are only required if the vehicle has Bose Centerpoint, which has a center channel speaker at the top of the dash. If there is no center channel speaker, neither connection is required. If there is, you would need a device to give you some sort of summed center channel for the center RCA, or you could just not use it. Most radios dont have an output for center channel
