Post by White05WK » Thu Oct 10, 2019 10:25 pm

2005 grand Cherokee with amp Sony xav ax100.
Intermittent no sound. Checked and updated but no difference. Radio powers up fine but no sound from any input. Radio or Bluetooth or usb.
Thanks

So have you even had audio from the system after replacing the radio, or has it never worked?

Yes it worked fine for 6 months till I upgraded to maestro unit from the PAC unit. Nothing else has changed.

did you connect the blue/white wire from the CH2 harness to the one on the radio's harness? That is the most common reason you would get no sound from the factory amplified system.

Have you tried reflashing the RR unit to make sure that the factory amplifier option was checked during the flashing process? Have you verified that you have audio output from the speaker outputs of the radio, going into the CH2 harness?
