Camry 2012 XLE With 6.1 And JBL Greenedge

Post by rdelira » Wed Aug 21, 2019 9:33 pm

I purchased Maestro RR along with TO2 Harness and welded the wires after removing the dash and original radio.

Replacing the radio i realized that the factory harnesses doesn't match with TO2. Specifically only match the 28 pin harness. They look like this Image

Reading the posts found other people with same problem so I ordered a TO1 in order to do the correct instalation.

My question is: What firmware do i have to flash the RR with?

Do i have to choose any other make, year and model to get done with this? Thanks for help

Flash as an 11 Camry with JBL.

Yesterday I finally installed Pioneer radio AVH-600EX with TO1 Harness.

Configured as 2011 Camry with JBL, Gauges work, SWC Works but i'm getting an issue with de audio.

I works fine just turning on the radio but after 10 or 15 minutes if volume level is greater than 50% it begins to sound scratching.

Checking wiring on the guide it tells that i have to connect the 3.5 audio cable that comes with de maestr rr pluged to de auxiliary input of the radio... is this necesary??

How can i solve the problem of scratch noise

for the audio cable, in your car it won't be needed.
for the scratching noise, when you have the volume up over 50% is it pretty loud, or just barely getting loud? You might be overdriving the amplifier or underdriving it depending. you can turn the gain down of the amplifier by going into the OEM setup in the settings of your radio. then go to Vehicle Features, Vehicle Amplifier, then to Gain and here is where you can adjust the gain of the amp. You can turn the gain up or down to match with the radio.
