2014 Toyota RAV4 XLE, Maestro SW and JVC 930BTS

Have a peculiar issue where only half the steering wheel buttons function. The volume up and down work as well as the mode and back buttons(LEFT SIDE). The 4 way arrow switch(LEFT side), the enter button(LEFT side), and the hands free calling buttons(RIGHT SIDE) won't do anything no matter what I program them for. I have verified my connections and colors. Any thoughts?

It sounds like you don't have the pink/red connected. All the buttons you're missing are on that input.

I will check again when she comes back in tomorrow to make sure my solder connections are tight and I'll get back to you with an update. Thanks

Alright connections are good, tried a different head unit and still nothing....I do have indications on the SW when I push the buttons, so they do work. Are there any other options at this point. Thanks

If the light on the SW blinks when you press all buttons, then the wiring to the car is correct and the maestro is sending commands. You may have the blue plug in the wrong port. or the wire on the blue plug may have a bad connection. Otherwise, check for settings in the radio that might disable the steering wheel controls.
