2009 Camry w/JBL wrong steering control functions

Post by vfigueroa23 » Sun Jul 07, 2019 8:09 pm

I have a 2009 Camry Hybrid with JBL and Factory AMP. I purchased the Maestro RR and T01 harness. Head unit (DUAL xdcpa9bt) powers on and functions great but the steering wheel buttons are mapped wrong. The head unit should is receiving steering wheel button functions from the 2.5mm jack. I flashed the RR with the latest firmware using the weblink desktop.

If I press the volume up button the radio changes inputs and starts scanning radio stations. If I press the volume down the radio will mute. I re-flashed the Maestro RR and I get the same response.

Am I missing something?

That radio has a different protocol which we do not have yet. If all the commands work, just in different locations, you can reprogram the swc controls when you reflash the Maestro.
