2016 Ford f150 XLT

Post by santosd747 » Wed Jun 05, 2019 1:58 pm

I installed the idatalink dash kit and Maestro RR along with a Pioneer AVH 4400 NEX and everyhting works well except for few issues. My factory remotes no longer work/lock unlock vehicle. Also the talk/phone buttons on steering wheel dont work. I have the latest flash from the website for both the headunit and RR. I attempted to unplug the radio and to test the remotes and still nothing works. What is the issue? Also I am in the business with Car audio / electronics.

The keyless entry has nothing to do with the radio circuit, so there has to be something else going on with that one.

Which bluetooth system are you paired to; the Pioneer or Sync?

I recommend re-flashing your Rr and unchecking Sync. As of now, the voice/phone buttons are set to do Sync related commands. That would definitely cause them to not work correctly if you're pairing to the Pioneer for phone calls.
