2010 Mazda 3 w/ Factory Navigation

Post by JG-Mazda3 » Wed Jun 05, 2019 9:42 am

I am interested in purchasing a Maestro RR to support steering wheel controls for an Alpine ILX-207; however, when I look up the compatibility for my 2010 Mazda 3 with the Bose Radio with Navigation, it says "w/o Factory Navigation" as the only option.

Currently I have an Enon radio installed (junk, don't get me started on them). When I installed the Enon I bypassed the factory amplifier, and I removed the factory Bluetooth module and satellite radio receiver. Can I use the Maestro RR to maintain steering wheel controls?

What is the reason to exclude the units with factory navigation?

Thanks in advance for any feedback!

I'm not sure why the coverage is only specifying non-nav. From what the schematic shows, the navigation trim has analog buttons with the same layout as the non-navigation cars, so if you flash as non-nav, it should work.

Dara,

Thanks, I was willing to make that assumption, but wanted some internal feedback first.
