X110-SRA OBDII head unit wire install.

Post by sbfd337 » Wed Jun 05, 2019 1:46 am

I purchased a used unit. The OBDII connector was removed and the 2 wires were installed directly to prior OBDII wiring. Which wires on my 2015 GMC Sierra should I tap into to install these 2 wires from the wiring harness to my OBDII wires? What wires and color should I be looking for?

That is what I thought. I have the wires connected to Pin 6 and 14. The head unit still says OBD disconnected.

That was the trick. Also was able to reattach my electric side steps that plug into the OBD2. Everything works perfectly. Thanks.
