I'm sure you guys are being asked to death about the UConnect Microphones.

I've a 2017 Grand Caravan that has the 430 Radio. I'm replacing it with the Alpine ilx-W650 and I'm using the Maestro RR kit.

Will the Mic continue to work?

No. You must use the supplied Alpine microphone in this application.

Same question here for a 2017 Wrangler with factory amp and UConnect. Installing a Sony XAV-AX1000 later this week. Should I be using the external mic? If so, should I be removing the UConnect module from the Jeep? Or is there still a use for UConnect?

use the mic that comes with the radio. You don't need to remove the Uconnect module, and you'll be better off using the BT in the radio anyway.
