How to program quick access buttons

Post by Dapert » Sat May 11, 2019 11:00 am

I have a 2012 Mustang with the KIT-MUS1 and there was no option during flash to program the 5 quick access buttons on the kit. I see the wallet card that is to show what they do but there was no time during the process to program them. The climate button and rear defrost buttons work but the other 3 do nothing.

Anybody know what step I missed? I didn't see anything in the instructions to cover it either.

In the very last step of the flash, in the section where you configure your steering wheel controls, the quick access buttons will be programmable below the steering controls. Look at the very bottom and they will be there.

Ok thanks I'll take a look again. I have the basic steering wheel with only cruise control so maybe I didn't see it.

Yep. Make sure to scroll down below the steering wheel buttons; it will be there.
