Kenwood DDX9902S IF Port

Post by jmonica » Wed Jan 02, 2019 1:50 am

Hi,
I installed the Maestro RR in my 2015 Hyundai Genesis Coupe with a Kenwood DDX9903s HU. On the back of the Head unit there's a 4 pin port that says iDatalink that I connected to the Maestro per the instructions and alongside of it there's a 3.5mm jack that is also labelled iDatalink but it also says "I/F". Do I need to plug one of the wires included with the RR that has a Male 3.5 on one end? I feel like I am not getting all of the information that I should like Vehicle information. Thank You

No you will not need the 3.5mm port in your application. With your particular application you are only going to get steering wheel controls and performance gauges. what info is it that you are not receiving?

Ok thanks. Not understanding the extent of what the “Gauges” would give me, and I know this sounds lame, but one reason for buying the Maestro RR was so that I could monitor tire pressures from the screen. I already had a working steering wheel solution but I replaced it with the Maestro. Oh well I should have done more research so I’m out of luck I guess. Thanks for replying.

We don't have a list of what gauges each vehicle gets, because it can differ from vehicle to vehicle, even based on something as simple as different trim levels. As far as the gauges we can support, there are:

Acceleration
Accelerator Pedal Position
Air Fuel Ratio
Average Fuel Economy
Battery Voltage
Boost/Vacuum
Dist. to Empty
Engine coolant Temp
Engine Load
Engine Oil Temp
Exhaust Gas Temp
Fuel Level
Fuel pressure
Instantaneous Fuel Economy
Intake air Temp
Intake Manifold Air Pressure
Mass Air Flow
RPM
Throttle Plate Position
Timing advance
Torque
Transmission Fluid Temp
Vehicle Speed
