2014 Tundra with JBL no sound from amp

Post by Ryang9909 » Sat Dec 22, 2018 10:13 am

Hi there,

I installed the Maestro rr and the T02 harness in my Tundra last night. Everything works great, except there is no sound coming from the factory amp.

I reflashed the unit three times. I’ve also confirmed there is 12v coming from the head units remote turn on to the Maestro blue/white wire.

I haven’t confirmed yet, but it looks like the blue/white wire on the Mastro harness connects to an empty pin out on the factory harness. I’m going to look into that this morning.

I’m using firmware ads-rr[sr]-toy02-ds (512)(2.5) with a Kenwood 6705s (with the most recent updates).

Any help is greatly appreciated

The amplifier turn-on is digital, so there is no place for the blue/white wire to run in the car.

-Where did you plug in the red and white RCAs on the back of your radio? They should be in the FL and FR outputs of the Kenwood.
-There is a diagnostic menu in the OEM Setup of the radio (Setup > AV > OEM Setup > Maestro Module > Diagnostics > OEM Systems). When you go into the amplifier section of the diagnostic, what does it say?
