2007 Ford Edge Non-Nav SiriusXM integration

Post by heffe2001 » Tue Dec 04, 2018 11:03 pm

I installed a Pioneer AVH-2440NEX today in my 2007 Ford Edge SEL Plus, with the standard 6 disk changer (non-navigation) Factory SiriusXM module. I used a Maestro RR, and the FD01 harness, but I'm not getting the factory Sirius module listed in the configuration app. If I change the year to a 2008 (which uses the same exact SiriusXM module as the '07), and select the Non-sync/Non-Nav radio, the SiriusXM module is selectable. Is there any way to get this module working with the Pioneer? Could I tell the Maestro that my car is a Non-nav, non-sync 2008 model and get the Sirius option enabled, or is the fact it's NOT available on the 07 an oversite?

Both years use the same module, and the connection for the SiriusXM is integrated into the harness that connect to the Maestro now.

I'd love to keep my SiriusXM and not have to replace the existing tuner (I DO have a used Sirius module I could use, but I'd rather use the factory antenna, but it terminates in the rear cargo area where the original sirius module is located).

That appears to have worked. Everything is functional, and the SiriusXM radio shows up under vehicle sources now.
