07 honda civic blue/green wire

Post by fa507 » Mon Oct 29, 2018 11:57 pm

Hello everyone
I have a 07 honda civic si with factory navigation, I'm trying to replace it with a Pioneer Avh x1600dvd. I recently purchased the Maestro RR with the HO1 harness, i already have all the wires connect by following the instructions, but I'm having trouble now as to where the blue/green wire from the blue plug that connects to the maestro to the radio is to go, the instructions don't specify where it should connect. My pioneer radio does not have a data port so I'm guessing that the blue plug is the one to be used.

Thanks for your help in advance

Do not connect the blue/yellow. Just tape or cap it off.

thank you so much
I finally installed the radio and everything works fine and volume and mode buttons on the steering wheel work too, but there seems to be very low static coming from the speakers and is not controlled by volume, it always stays at the same level. what could be causing this? I made sure all the wires are crimped correctly and unused wires covered so they wont make contact with anything else
