2012 F-150 with a Pioneer 1330 NEX

Post by caf048 » Mon Oct 15, 2018 1:53 pm

So I've had the radio installed for about 7 months and everything has worked fine until this past week. Im driving and all of a sudden my sound cuts out and the mini display in the f-150 says "Powered by Sony Sound" or something along those lines, like my truck restarted. It stays stuck like that for 5 minutes and comes and goes throughout me driving. My radio doesn't turn off or anything, so I'm assuming its a sync issue, as it keeps saying paired phone not found after each reboot. After I turn the truck off and on, everything works fine again.

There was a firmware issue back in April that was fixed regarding the Sony amplified systems, like the one you have in your truck. Please reflash the RR with the most recent firmware, version 3.4, and make sure your radio firmware is up to date as well. The pioneer update is available on their website and is version 8.35
