2009 Hyundai Elantra (Std. Key/Sedan/4 Cyl/Automatic)

Post by curtis328 » Sun Oct 14, 2018 8:46 pm

Just did an HC2352AC in a 2009 Elantra, with RST-HK2 firmware. The doors will not lock with the idatastart remote when the vehicle is off; only when remote started.

I removed the connection to the ARM wire (Green - 23), and this allows the doors to lock, but of course not arm. If I pulse the Lock and Arm wires at the same time with a jumper to ground, the doors do not lock.

Any idea what's going on Murph? And yes I diode isolated as per the install guide, with the cathode toward the HC2352AC.

Thanks,
Curtis

Sounds like you are not on the right arm wire. You are simply pulsing arm and lock as the same time. Test the wire by turning the key to lock in the drivers door.
