Ok- the engineer found a bug in his coding and is working on updating it with a fix.

I have a 2017 F-250 since the latest Sync 3 update was installed my system cannot remember the previous channel once the engine is turned off. My work around is to turn the radio off first and then shut down the engine and do the reverse when I get back in. Ford says they have no idea why this is happening and for the past six months has offered no solutions other then the statment saying "the engineers are working on it and the difficulty is because the audio system is not built by Ford, they only install it." I was wondering if anyone in this form has heard of this and if so is there a solution?

Do you have aftermarket equipment installed in your truck? If so, what radio model?
