Understanding the process

Post by mrflark » Tue Sep 05, 2017 11:30 pm

I have a 2010 Sienna XLE Limited with the JBL sound system.

I got my new radio today a Kenwood DDX774BH and the Maestro ADS-MRR. The HRN-RR-TO1 comes on Thursday and hopefully will clear everything up, but in the meantime, I am trying to figure it out

I have looked at all the pictures and diagrams and am still not too sure how everything is going to fit together. Does the Kenwood harness attach to HRN-RR-TO1? How then does everything attach ADS-MRR?

The TO1 connects to the Kenwood's wiring, plugs into the RR, and then plugs into the vehicle. It ties everything together. If you have more questions, i suggest waiting until the harness comes in so you can see it in person. If that doesn't clear it up, call us and we can explain it.

I will wait till I get the harness, but basically, you do nothing with the connectors that came ADS-MRR?

My car also has parking sensors that show up on another spot on the console. Will they be integrated into the new radio?

The majority of the harnesses that come in the RR box won't be used. You will use the data and audio cables that come in the RR box.

With this vehicle, the parking assist is not able to be shown on the radio.
