What Maestro module is in the vehicle?

What does the LED do on the module when you hit volume up and down? What about for seek up and down?

i have a iDatalink Maestro RR Interface Modul wired to a iDatalink ADS HRN-RR-GM5+ Interface Harness also there is no seek or foward also all stearing controls where working with factory radio before changing to boss unit.

all leds flash when buttons are pushed call tech support said to reflash as a pioner 2009 w bt did and only the volume buttons work
