Change in Process to Flash DSR1?

Post by henkew » Fri Jul 27, 2018 9:14 pm

Rockford determined that my first DSR1 must be defective, so I am trying to flash the new device. Before, after selecting my vehicle year and model (2019 Dodge Ram) and cable, I would select options (like which speaker I wanted the car prompts to use). Now I don't get that option. Instead I just see a message saying "No Features found, please continue to next section."

Why can't I set those options anymore?

UPDATE: When I hook the new DSR1 to the car and run the app, I keep getting a bluetooth error that the device has been lost. The other unit, in the exact same location does not have this problem. Regardless, this unit has no sound either. Not only that, it doesn't have sound for a few seconds like the other one did.

What all do I lose if I go to Universal mode? It seems like by doing that I lose out on all the benefits of what I paid for....

-Feature Selection has been fixed.
-make sure that you flash the module on our site for vehicle firmware, then update the BLE module on our site and final the DSR1 with the DSR1 Updater tool.
